This policy explains what Roadbook Planner does with your information. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
The short version: we store your email address and the route plans you create, so you can sign in and get them back on any device. We don't sell anything to anyone, we don't run ads, and we don't track you around the internet.
Roadbook Planner is operated by Ricardo Fernandes, Rua de São Bento 36, Boieira, 2480-073 Juncal, Portugal (tax number 206240074). For anything in this policy, write to ricardojoaomail@gmail.com.
The feedback form has a separate tick box asking whether your words may be quoted on this website. It is off unless you turn it on. If you turn it on, only the text you wrote may be published, alongside the name you gave — never your email address, and never anything about your routes. Change your mind at any time and write to us; it comes down.
If you tick the box reserving the founder price, we keep your email so we can tell you once when the paid version goes on sale. That is the only thing it is used for.
We do not collect your location. The optional GPS feature reads your position inside your own browser to tick off nearby stops; that position is never sent to us or stored anywhere.
Running the service needs a few other companies. Each one sees only what it needs:
Nobody else receives your data. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it for advertising.
Your account and routes stay until you ask us to delete them. Payment and invoice records are kept for as long as Portuguese tax law requires, which is currently ten years. Ask us to delete your account and everything not legally required to be kept is removed.
Under the GDPR you can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, delete it, hand it over in a portable format, or stop using it. Write to ricardojoaomail@gmail.com and we will answer within one month. If you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the CNPD.
The site stores a sign-in token in your browser so you don't have to log in every time — in permanent storage if you tick "remember me", otherwise only until you close the tab. Place names you have looked up are also cached locally to avoid repeating the request. There are no advertising or analytics cookies.
This service is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly hold data about them.
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes and account holders are told by email.
